This course meets your NMLS requirements to apply for a mortgage license in Louisiana as well as the core requirements for an applicant in any state!*
All mortgage license applicants must meet a federal requirement requiring mortgage loan originators (MLOs)to complete a pre-license education course. In order to meet this requirement, all state-licensed MLOs must complete 20 hours of NMLS-approved education which includes the following:
Three hours on Federal law and regulations
Three hours of ethics
Two hours related to lending standards for the nontraditional mortgage market
Twelve hours of undefined instruction on mortgage origination
DONALDSON'S Mortgage Pre-License Course meets the 20 hour core requirement to apply for a mortgage license and take the national component of the SAFE exam.
