This course aims to better inform real estate professionals at all stages of experience of the true landscape of the real estate industry in modern times, the changes in consumer behavior, and thereby assisting in developing a more effective marketing strategy that will work now and into the future. In this 4-hour course, students will revisit marketing fundamentals such as branding, prospecting, farming, and help relate those essential skills to the changing digital landscape. Attendees will learn practical knowledge and identify proper marketing practice in the digital age including websites, on social media, web 2.0, email, and other important mediums common to the modern digital age. Students will also learn proper practice in deploying marketing which is compliant, legal, ethical, and in line with expectations of the consumers and members of the public.
